As a result of shelling of the railway station in Kherson on December 26, a policeman was killed, and two more people were hospitalized with shrapnel injuries. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.

According to the minister, the police officers on duty at the station urgently began evacuating people.
Two civilians who received shrapnel wounds are being treated.
“Unfortunately, a police lieutenant from Kirovohrad Oblast died as a result of the shelling. He served in Kherson as part of a combined detachment. He was mortally wounded during the evacuation of people. Our condolences to the relatives and relatives of the deceased,” Klymenko said.
Currently, two more policemen are in hospital with shrapnel wounds.
