On Saturday, the Russian aggressors continued their unsuccessful offensive in four directions in the Donbass, concentrating their main efforts on capturing the cities of Bakhmut and Marinka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 58 attacks per day, the General Staff said in the morning report on Sunday, April 30.
The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions – 58 enemy attacks were repulsed over the past day. Bakhmut and Marinka are at the epicenter of hostilities.
Yesterday, the enemy launched seven missile and 39 air strikes, carried out 50 shellings from the MLRS. There are dead and wounded among the civilian population, private houses and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed and damaged.
According to the General Staff, they clarified that in the Limansky direction the enemy was conducting unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of Belogorovka.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continued to conduct offensive operations. Fighting continued in the city of Bakhmut. In addition, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of Ivanovsky and Predtechinoy.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Russians carried out offensive operations near the settlements of Avdiivka and Pervomayskoye in the Donetsk region, but were not successful.
In the Maryinsky direction, enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka.
And in turn, the aviation of the Defense Forces over the past day delivered three strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also shot down two enemy Shahed-type drones, one reconnaissance Orlan-10 and another unidentified UAV.
Missile troops and artillery units hit the enemy’s manpower concentration area, two fuel and lubricants, two air defense systems, one artillery unit and another important enemy target.
