Three former people’s deputies of Ukraine and one current one fell under US sanctions.
On Thursday, January 20, the US Treasury updated the sanctions list by adding four Ukrainian politicians to it.
The sanctions were imposed in connection with the “harmful foreign activities of Russia.”
In particular, Oleg Voloshin, people’s deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life, and former people’s deputies Taras Kozak, Vladimir Oleinik and Vladimir Sivkovich were sanctioned.
As you know, the Ukrainian authorities are calling on the United States to impose sanctions against Russia, but Washington is in no hurry to do so. They say that restrictive measures have already been prepared, but the decision will depend on the actions of the Russian Federation.
