The Security Service of Ukraine and the Bureau of Economic Security are conducting a search of the house of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky in Dnipro.
The investigation concerns fraud around Ukrtatnafta and Ukrnafta.
According to the source, we are talking about the waste of oil products worth 40 billion hryvnia and evasion of customs payments for huge amounts.
- In October 2022, Igor Kolomoisky came to the Kyiv office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau for interrogation.
- In mid-September, NABU detectives searched the Kolomoisky house in the Bukovel resort. Law enforcement officers seized documents, a gadget, and also downloaded its contents. The businessman himself said that he “hadn’t heard” about it. The search concerned proceedings on the seizure of property and funds of the Ukrnafta company for almost UAH 13 billion in 2015.
- In addition, in early September, anti-corruption authorities announced suspicions in this case to former managers of Ukrnafta. Kolomoisky does not have the status of a suspect.
