Kyiv received new air defense systems to protect energy facilities. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced this on Friday, October 28, on the air of the Kyiv TV channel.
“The military assured me that now the new air defense equipment has arrived in the capital. The sky will be more protected. We hope that attacks and provocations with kamikaze drones will no longer occur,” Klitschko said.
He also noted that due to a significant shortage of electricity – from 20 to 50% – today the energy supply system of Kyiv is operating in an emergency mode.
