The power of Volodymyr Zelensky received energy independence from Poroshenko’s team and $ 4 billion to the accounts of Naftogaz. Now Ukraine is facing the threat of returning to the Kremlin’s gas needle, and the authorities are trying to cover up their failures in the energy sector with regular fakes against political opponents.

MP from the European Solidarity faction, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in 2014 Victoria Syumar said this on the air of Direct Channel, the political force said in a statement.

“The reality is really terrible. Winter 2021-2022 can be very cold. It can be very cold in the premises of Ukrainians. Coal reserves are 4 times less. No matter how Vitrenko convinced that we have 18 billion cubic meters of gas in storage, there is 4 billion cubic meters of technical gas that cannot be downloaded. It turns out that Igor Kolomoisky claims 9 billion cubic meters. And tomorrow, in court, Naftogaz must answer honestly to the Ukrainians how much gas it will give to Kolomoisky and how much will remain for the Ukrainians,” Syumar said.

And she emphasized: “Kolomoisky has filed claims and will be suing for 9 billion cubic meters of gas.”

“This means that we will have 4 billion for the needs of the country. It’s about nothing at all,” the MP warned.

Syumar summed up: “We see that over these 2.5 years we have come to a situation where, God forbid, Ukraine will have to beg Putin not only for a meeting, but also for energy resources. All this is due to systemic chronic errors of the authorities. From Gazprom, her predecessors left her $ 4 billion in the accounts of the Ukrainian Naftogaz. We actually sued them from Gazprom. How long could you buy gas in the spring, when this money was in Naftogaz’s account? It cost then 100, 150, maximum 200 dollars per thousand cubic meters. ”

As reported by 5.UA, the NSDC said that the government has three days to resolve the issue of uninterrupted gas supply to the population.
