The investigative film “Break the Bank” tells how fraudulent schemes worked in “PrivatBank” and shows the previously unknown businesses and property of Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov in the United States, Great Britain, Switzerland and Israel.
In December 2016, the state bought the largest Ukrainian private bank for 1 hryvnia. Along with the nationalization of PrivatBank, the government received huge problems.
According to estimates by the international audit company Kroll, Kolomoisky and his business partners illegally withdrew $ 5.5 billion through PrivatBank.
Litigation over the bank continues in Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States. Recently, the US FBI took over Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov.
If they can prove their involvement in billions of machinations, rich and influential Ukrainians will be imprisoned and their property confiscated.
