28% of Ukrainians consider President Volodymyr Zelensky the “loser” of the year, while almost 15% named Zelensky the politician of the year.
Most often, Ukrainians call the current president the politician of the year, but he also topped the people’s rating of the “losers” of the year, according to the results of a survey by the Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the KIIS.
Sociologists note that in 2020, Ukraine can be said to be left without a politician of the year.
Although the Ukrainians gave the relative majority in this nomination to Zelensky, only 15% were named the politician of the year.
Other politicians are remembered even less – the second place is occupied by former President Petro Poroshenko, who is considered the politician of the year by 9%.
At the same time, both politicians lead the people’s rating “Loser of the Year” – Zelensky is considered the Loser of the Year by 28%, and Poroshenko – by 14%, the rest are recalled by less than 5%.
Last year, Zelensky was considered the politician of the year by 46% of Ukrainians.
