On the night of December 31, 2019 to January 1, 2020, the Kyiv metro will run two hours longer.
The last train will leave each station at a different time. From the city center – around 2:15. Additional opening hours are added to the regular schedule of each station located at the entrance and on the platform.
On New Year’s Eve, the Kyiv funicular will work around the clock, and the schedule of trams, trolleybuses and minibuses has been extended by 2 hours.
Dnipro
The metro will operate as usual on holidays. Quarantine restrictions will not affect public transport on New Year’s Eve. Buses, trams, trolleybuses, metro will continue to work, but it will still be possible to ride only sitting and wearing a mask.
During the New Year holidays, there are no changes in the work of transport. Due to the fact that there will be no festive events in the city, there is no need to extend the work of transport.
On the night of December 31 to January 1, bus routes will not work. From January 1 to January 3, buses will run according to the weekend schedule.
As for trolleybuses and trams, on December 31, they will all be as usual. So, trolleybuses will operate until 22:00-23:00, and trams – until 23:00-23:30. But on January 1, electric transport will go online an hour later.
Kharkiv
How the metro will work in Kharkiv for the New Year 2021. This became known from the order of the Kharkiv mayor, published in the Unified City Register of Acts of the City Council.
The document says that the Department of Infrastructure of the City Council must ensure that the metro in Kharkiv will work on New Year’s Eve until 3:00 on January 1, 2021.
