President Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander. A decision was made to further hold and protect the city of Bakhmut, according to the website of the head of state on Tuesday, March 15.
It is indicated that today the members of the Headquarters heard reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the commanders of operational-strategic groupings of troops on the current situation at the front.
“Having considered the course of the defense operation in the Bakhmut direction, all members of the Headquarters expressed a common position on the further maintenance and protection of the city of Bakhmut,” the message says.
The meeting also analyzed the provision of weapons and ammunition to the units on the front line. Separately, the pace and volume of the receipt of equipment and weapons from the Allied partners and their further distribution among the troops were discussed.
