The OSCE has suspended its monitoring mission in Donbas for security reasons. Since for several days under the hotel where the members of the OSCE mission live, a “protest action” of the occupiers is taking place, Reuters reports.
“Because of fears for our security, because of rules and security considerations, we have suspended our operations,” said Chief Observer of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, Yashar Halit Cevik.
At the same time, he added, observers do not yet feel the threat from the “protesters”.
