The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia is collecting dirt on the new head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Kirill Budanov. Ukrainian special services intercepted the relevant negotiations.

The entry was posted on the website of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In December, one of the GUR divisions intercepted negotiations between two FSB representatives who were in the occupied Simferopol and Donetsk. In the conversation, they discussed the search for compromising evidence on Budanov and transferring it to the FSB department, which specializes in conducting special and sabotage operations.

In particular, they are discussing that they had previously passed all the information about Budanov. The full record can be found here.

The interlocutors are former employees of the Crimean department of the SBU, who went over to the side of Russia – Alexander Sklyanko and Nikolai Chernykh.
