The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and assault operations in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting damage to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out 11 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and three strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
The missile force units hit one control point, one air defense system, six artillery weapons, one personnel concentration area and one enemy electronic warfare station.
It is also reported that the Russians carried out two missile and 57 air strikes, and carried out 43 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. The Russian Federation also launched another attack on Ukraine, using 33 Shahed 136/131 attack UAVs. Ukraine’s air defense forces and means destroyed 25 enemy martyrs. Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian deaths and injuries. Private residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.
According to the General Staff, in the Volyn and Polesie directions the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of the formation of offensive groups have been identified. Assigned units of the Belarusian Armed Forces perform missions in areas bordering Ukraine.
In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, continues shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. More than 15 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Volkovka, Stepnoe, Novodmitrovka, Popovka in the Sumy region; Volchansk, Gatishche, Zemlyanka, Kharkov region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka and Ivanovka, Kharkov region. The Russians carried out air strikes near the settlements of Podoli, Ivanovka, Sinkovka, Petropavlovka in the Kharkov region. Areas of more than 15 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, in particular Kamenka, Dvurechnaya, Berestovo, Kislovka, Ivanovka in the Kharkov region.
In the Liman direction, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the area east of Makeyevka, Luhansk region. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Peski-Radkovskie in the Kharkov region, Belogorivka in the Lugansk region and Spornoye and Veseloye in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were damaged by artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevskoye and Belogorivka in the Lugansk region, as well as Spornoye and Razdolevka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the area south of Andreevka, Donetsk region. Carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Kleshchievka and Andreevka, Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Khromovo, Chasov Yar, Kleshchievka, Andreevka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdeevka direction, the Russians launched an air strike in the Avdeevka area. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Avdiivka, Severnoe, and Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, during the day, the Defense Forces successfully repelled about 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka. Russian troops carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka and Konstantinovka. About 10 settlements were under fire from the occupiers, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in the area of the settlements of Ugledar, Zolotaya Niva, Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region, and north of Priyutnoye, Zaporozhye region. The occupiers launched an air strike in the area of the village of Vodyanoye. More than 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Urozhaynoye, and Storozhevoye in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area northeast of Novoprokopovka. The occupiers carried out an air strike in the area of the settlement of Malaya Tokmachka. More than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltavka, Gulyaypole, Malaya Tokmachka, Rabotino, Pyatikhatki, Kamenskoye, Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the settlements of Antonovka and Kherson were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
