In the Polish city of Wroclaw, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk won a fight against Briton Daniel Dubois, thus defending the title of the unified world heavyweight boxing champion.

The fight was tense. In the fifth round, Dubois hit Usyk in the groin and the Ukrainian had to recover, taking a break.

Dubois knocked down in the ninth round after a powerful blow from the Ukrainian on the right put an end to the fight. The judge signaled an early knockout in favor of the Ukrainian!

In an interview in the ring, Usyk said that he dedicates his triumph to his homeland and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

36-year-old Oleksandr Usyk successfully defended his IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO titles and The Ring magazine belt. The Ukrainian remains invincible in the pro ring. Now the 36-year-old boxer has 21 wins, including 14 by knockout.

Now Usyk has only to win the WBC belt, owned by Tyson Fury, in order to have the status of the undisputed world heavyweight champion.
