Ukraine in the 2023/2024 marketing year (from July 1 to August 21, 2023) exported 3.607 million tons of grains and legumes. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
It is noted that in the current marketing year, Ukraine has currently exported 1.467 million tons of wheat, 422 thousand tons of barley, 0.6 thousand tons of rye and 1.711 million tons of corn.
For comparison: in 2022/2023, as of August 25, 2022, Ukraine exported 3.327 million tons of grains and legumes, including: 896 thousand tons of wheat, 272 thousand tons of barley and 2.142 million tons of corn, 0.4 thousand rye.
In the three weeks of August 2023, Ukraine exported 1,333 thousand tons of grain and legumes (for 25 days of August last year – 1,626 thousand tons), including: 646 thousand tons of wheat (520 thousand tons), 127 thousand tons of barley (123 thousand tons) and 558 thousand tons of corn (975 thousand tons). This year, since the beginning of August, rye has not been exported (last year for this period – 0.4 thousand tons).
Since the beginning of MY 2023/2024, Ukraine has exported 17.7 thousand tons of flour (in MY 2022/2023 as of the corresponding date – 9.6 thousand tons).
