The Economic Court of Kyiv recognized as legal the termination of the agreement for gratuitous use, concluded between the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra (monastery) of the UOC-MP and the national reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. In particular, we are talking about the premises of the Lower Lavra.
Thus, the Economic Court of Kyiv refused to satisfy the claims of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra (monastery) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate – ed.).
It is noted that this religious organization continued to want to use religious buildings and other property that is state property.
Prior to this, the commission of the ministry revealed during the audit a number of violations of the agreement concluded between the UOC and the reserve, which became the basis for its termination.
