Over the past day, 540 Russian occupiers have been liquidated in Ukraine. In total, the losses of the Russian Federation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 250,000 military.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of Monday, August 7, the losses of the Russian Federation are:
- personnel — 250240 (+540) people liquidated,
- tanks — 4244 (+7) units,
- armored fighting vehicles — 8270 (+8) units,
- artillery systems — 4977 (+12) units,
- MLRS — 709 (+4) units,
- air defense systems — 467 (+1) units,
- aircraft — 315 (+0) units,
- helicopters — 311 (+0) units,
- Operational-tactical UAV — 4154 (+28),
- cruise missiles – 1377 (+18),
- ships / boats — 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers — 7451 (+10) units,
- special equipment – 735 (+3).
In early June, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in the south and east of Ukraine, gradually liberating the occupied territories and gaining a foothold on the occupied lines.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the recent modest successes of the Ukrainian forces on the front were only a preliminary “preview” of a much larger offensive that should take place.
