A temporary ban on the movement of ships has been introduced in the port of Novorossiysk, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) company said.
CPC owns an oil terminal near Novorossiysk. The company’s press service stated that the terminal is not damaged and continues to load oil onto moored tankers.
Local residents said that the explosion was at the CPC terminal.
Novorossiysk seaport is one of the largest ports of the Black Sea and Russia.
