The Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. The General Staff announced this on July 26.
It is noted that the Ukrainian army was successful in the Staromayorsky district, and is being consolidated on the achieved lines.
At the same time, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position northeast of Robotinoe in the Zaporozhye region.
The enemy continues to offer powerful resistance, is moving units and troops, is actively using reserves, the General Staff noted.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations north and south of the city of Bakhmut.
