The troops of the Russian Federation have concentrated their efforts on the five eastern directions of the front and continue air attacks on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are repelling the attacks of the occupiers and continue their offensive in the south, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning report on July 18.
It is noted that tonight the Russian Federation launched another missile strike and used Iranian strike UAVs of the Shahed type, information on the consequences is being specified.
Over the past day, the enemy launched five missile strikes from the S-300 air defense system, more than 40 air strikes, and fired about 60 multiple rocket launchers at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
“The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions – 36 military clashes took place over the past day,” the General Staff emphasized.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations west of Liman Pervy in the Kharkiv region, and in the Limansky direction – in the area west of Dibrova and east of Vesele, Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Minkovka, southeast of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, southeast of Bogdanovka and near Ivanovsky, Donetsk region, and in Avdeevsky, in the area of the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the offensive of the invaders in the districts of the city of Maryinka and near Krasnogorovka.
On the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating his main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. Despite this, the Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidate on the lines reached, and carry out counter-battery measures.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation has delivered 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the Russian Federation. Three attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type and six reconnaissance drones were destroyed.
Missile troops and artillery units hit the enemy manpower concentration area,
