The authorities plan to lay the main water pipelines in the Dnipropetrovsk region by autumn. Thus, it will be possible to provide water to such cities as Krivoy Rog, Marganets and Nikopol. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal stated this on his Facebook page on Tuesday, July 11.
“We started laying water mains in the Dnipropetrovsk region. These are three links with a total length of more than 144 km,” the head of government said in a message.
According to him, the deadlines for the performers were set as short as possible: the work should be completed by autumn.
He added that thanks to these projects, Kryvyi Rih, Manganets, Nikopol will have water.
The Prime Minister also noted that everything possible will be done for this.
“We already have the first intermediate results. In the city of Pokrov, a water supply system was laid and centralized water supply was resumed. Partially centralized supplies have been resumed in Nikopol, as well as in seven communities of the Kryvyi Rih region,” Shmyhal said.
