Driving Schools for Persons with Disabilities is a flagship project of the Ministry of the Interior, implemented as part of the No Barriers initiative of the First Lady. People with disabilities who are striving to obtain a category B driver’s license for the first time, need training or retraining in a manual car are invited to training.

The first 22 students are taking theoretical and practical courses in adapted driving schools, one has already received a driver’s license.

Driving schools for people with disabilities offer students accessible infrastructure, mixed inclusive or individual learning, the possibility of theoretical distance learning, personalized learning according to a convenient schedule, certified modern manual vehicles, support and advice from experienced instructors who have completed additional courses.

You can enroll in one of the five driving schools on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“We want to help socialize our defenders and defenders, as well as reach those people who received disabilities before the war and have long intended to become drivers,” said Deputy Interior Minister Kateryna Pavlichenko.
