Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 18 artillery units, an air defense system and three command posts of the Russian invaders. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report on Wednesday, June 21.
During the day, the Defense Forces aviation delivered nine strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas and three on its anti-aircraft missile systems. Four reconnaissance UAVs of the Russians were destroyed.
During the day, missile and artillery units hit three command posts, one area of concentration of personnel and military equipment, three electronic warfare stations, 18 artillery units in firing positions, one air defense system and six more important enemy targets.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders have attacked Ukraine with 33 Shahed-type Iranian strike UAVs, seven anti-aircraft guided missiles from the S-300 air defense system and one Iskander-M ground-based cruise missile at civilian infrastructure facilities in Zaporozhye. Air defense forces and equipment destroyed 30 Shahed strike UAVs.
In addition, the enemy inflicted 83 air strikes and made 58 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and settlements.
The enemy continues to concentrate his main efforts on the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions, heavy battles continue. During the day, there were 40 combat clashes.
In the Volyn and Polessky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched an air strike on the settlement of Kolodeznoye in the Kharkov region. In the Limansky direction, the Russians carried out offensive operations in the direction of Kremennaya – Yampolevka.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Donetsk region. In the Avdeevka direction, the enemy launched an air strike in the areas of Avdeevka and Severny, carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in Avdeevka.
In the Maryinsky direction, the invaders launched an air strike in the Maryinka area. In the Mining direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations in the direction of Novomikhailovka, but had no success. In the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations.
The Russian occupiers are actively spreading information about the evacuation in case of a breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, in Genichesk, collaborators’ mobile phones receive SMS messages with detailed instructions and coordinates of evacuation points, which in turn causes panic.
