President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed new heads of the Sumy and Luhansk OVAs. The relevant decrees are published on the website of the Office of the President.
Volodymyr Artyukh has been appointed head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, and Artem Lysohor has been appointed head of the Luhansk OVA.
According to media reports, Volodymyr Artyukh is a lieutenant general, adviser to the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration. He served 37 years in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, held command and staff positions from platoon commander to deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Artem Lysogor served as Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the National Police of the Zhytomyr Region. From October 2021 to June 2022, he was seconded to the east of Ukraine to perform the duties of Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces for the use of forces and means of the National Police units.
