The troops of the Russian Federation continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions; over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 58 enemy attacks. This was announced on April 10 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been found.
The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine of the Kursk and Belgorod regions. In the Kursk region, the engineering equipment of the area continues.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian army conducted shelling, in the Limansky direction, unsuccessful offensive operations in the area south of Dibrova.
In the Bakhmut direction, the invaders continue to conduct offensive operations, trying to take full control of the city of Bakhmut. Fierce battles continue, over the past day the enemy has been conducting unsuccessful offensive operations in the area east of the Bogdanovka settlement and near Khromovoe. The units of the Defense Forces repulsed more than 30 enemy attacks on the indicated sector of the front.
On the Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions, the enemy conducted offensive operations
in the districts of Novokalinovoye, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Severny, Vodyany and Maryinka, was not successful. The fiercest battles on the indicated sector of the front continue for Avdiivka and Maryinka, where more than 20 enemy attacks were repulsed.
During the day, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions in the Shakhtyorsk direction, but carried out shelling of settlements in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the invaders continue to build up defense lines and positions. They shelled more than 45 settlements near the line of military clashes.
In just one day on April 9, the enemy launched 26 air and four missile strikes.
Two Russian missiles fired from the S-300 air defense system hit the civilian infrastructure of Zaporozhye, there are dead and wounded among civilians, residential buildings were destroyed and damaged. The enemy also fired two missiles from the S-300 air defense system at a civilian infrastructure facility in Konstantinovka, Donetsk region.
In addition, the Russian troops carried out 60 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the infrastructure of peaceful settlements. As a result of the hit, civilian infrastructure facilities in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region and Druzhkovka, Donetsk region were damaged. There are wounded among civilians, residential buildings are damaged.
“The likelihood of missile and air strikes continues to be high across the entire territory of Ukraine,” the General Staff stressed.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation has inflicted six strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. Six enemy UAVs were also shot down: three types of Lancet, two Zala and one Supercam.
The missile and artillery units hit four anti-aircraft missile systems, 11 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot and five enemy electronic warfare stations.
