More than 11,000 damaged objects restored in Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, 11,449 objects damaged as a result of Russian military aggression have already been fully and partially restored. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv OVA on Wednesday, April 5.

“Among the restored objects, the largest number of private and multi-storey buildings. In total, these are 10,126 buildings, among which 6,283 have been fully restored, 3,843 objects have been partially restored and life support has been provided,” the message says.

In addition, work continues on the restoration of social institutions. 180 schools and kindergartens, 95 medical institutions and 65 ASCs have been restored.

Over the past year, the regional authorities managed to restore 9011 objects. Mostly these are current repairs. In the first three months of this year, 2,438 have already been restored.

“This year we are working on a comprehensive restoration of entire locations. This principle will make it possible to restore not individual objects, but all houses on the street. Like, for example, Vokzalnaya in Bucha,” said Nikolai Boyko, deputy head of the Kyiv regional police department.
