Chairman of the executive committee of the banned Opposition Platform for Life Party Sergei Lyovochkin appeared in the Verkhovna Rada on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia and voted for the deprivation of the mandates of his fellow party members – Voloshin, Korolevskaya and Solod – the Chesno movement
The activists analyzed the voting results and the video of the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of February 24, 2023.
The People’s Deputy was present and voted “for” when considering resolutions on the early deprivation of mandates of deputies from the banned Opposition Platform for Life – Oleg Voloshin, Natalya Korolevskaya and Yuriy Solod.
At the same time, according to the publicly available voting data of the Verkhovna Rada, Sergei Lyovochkin was mostly absent from meetings during martial law.
On the eve of a full-scale Russian invasion, he left Ukraine.
People’s deputy of the “Platform for Life and Peace” group and one of the former leaders of the Opposition Platform for Life, Sergei Lyovochkin, are planned to be expelled in the Rada from the committee on national security, defense and intelligence.
After the publication of the news, the press service of Sergei Levochkin contacted the editors of the UP and asked to add the position of the people’s deputy.
In particular, it is alleged that in 2022 Lyovochkin attended most of the online meetings of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense and most of the plenary meetings of the Verkhovna Rada.
“I was absent solely for valid personal reasons,” the press service added.
