As a result of night shelling, the energy infrastructure in the central regions of Ukraine was damaged, due to which power outage schedules were introduced in a number of regions, Ukrenergo reports on Thursday, October 27.
The equipment of the backbone network of the Ukrainian energy system in the central regions was damaged. In this regard, in order to prevent network overload, this morning the dispatch center of Ukrenergo provided distribution network operators (oblenergos) with the amount by which electricity consumption should be limited in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.
Such measures allow power engineers to quickly restore damaged facilities and keep the system balanced.
It is noted that the value of the required limitation of consumers will be regulated depending on the current situation in the power system.
