As a result of a Russian missile attack on residential buildings in Zaporozhye, two people were killed. This was announced on October 6 by the head of the regional military administration Alexander Starukh.
He stressed that the data is preliminary.
“One woman died. Another died in an ambulance. There are at least five people under the rubble of houses,” Starukh emphasized.
According to him, many people were saved, including a three-year-old girl who was hospitalized.
“A rescue operation is underway at the scene,” the head of the OVA added, and warned that there was still a high probability of repeated rocket attacks.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin, units of the State Emergency Service rescued 16 people during the morning, and they are looking for three more under the rubble.
