Ukrainian air defense units on Saturday, September 24, destroyed four aircraft, five drones and a Russian cruise missile. This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Ukrainian air defense units destroyed 4 aircraft (Su-25, two Su-30s and one Su-34), 5 UAVs and a cruise missile of the invaders,” the General Staff reported.
It is also reported that over the current day, units of the Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlovka, Vyemka, Bakhmutskoye, Zaitsevo, Opytnoye, Otradovka, Nevelskoye and Novomikhailovka.
To support the actions of ground groups, the aircraft of the Defense Forces delivered 19 strikes. The defeat of 14 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy and five positions of anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed.
Rocket troops and artillery, in particular, hit four command posts, more than 10 enemy manpower and equipment concentration areas, three air defense positions and four ammunition depots. The losses of the enemy are specified.
At the same time, the occupiers launched five missile and 12 air strikes, carried out more than nine attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of warfare.
It is noted that more than 20 settlements were affected by enemy fire. In particular, Bakhmut, Nikolaevka, Kalinovka, Nikolaev, Sukhoi Stavok, Yuzhne, Malye Shcherbaki.
According to the General Staff, the enemy inflicted fire damage from tanks, mortars and cannon artillery, namely:
in the Seversky direction – in the areas of the settlements of Guta-Studenetskaya and Mikhailovo of the Chernihiv region and Pavlovka, Stukalovka, Seredina-Buda, Miropolskoye, Krasnopolye, Mezenovka and Slavgorod of the Sumy region;
in the Slobozhansky direction – in the areas of the settlements of Goptovka, Strelechya, Ivashki, Aleksandrovka, Podily, Kupyansk and Gorokhovatka;
in the Kramatorsk direction – Prishib, Yarovaya, Ozernoye, Dibrova, Raygorodok and Seversk;
in the Bakhmut direction – Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Veselaya Dolina, Otradovka, Zaitsevo, Yakovlevka, New York, Verkhnekamenskoye, Belogorovka and Rozdolovka;
in the Avdeevka direction – Avdeevka, Berdychi, Pervomayskoye, Karlovka, Vodyanoye, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka.
in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions, more than 25 settlements were shelled. Among them are Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Novoselka, Novopol, Belogorye, Orekhov, Temirovka and Vremenka.
More than 40 settlements along the line of contact were exposed to fire in the Yuzhnobugsk direction. For the purpose of conducting reconnaissance, adjusting fire and delivering strikes against civilian infrastructure, the enemy made more than 60 UAV sorties.
Partial mobilization measures continue on the territory of the Russian Federation. Due to the low motivation and readiness of Russian citizens to participate in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, in the settlements of the Krasnodar Territory, from the first hours of the announced mobilization, representatives of the military commissariats began door-to-door detours with the immediate delivery of subpoenas to men of military age. Police checkpoints are set up on major roads to control the movement of the male population.
