During the week, 5.7 million tons of grain were harvested in Ukraine. In total, as of August 5, 17.5 million tons were harvested from 4.8 million hectares, according to the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
At the moment, agrarians from 11 regions have already completely finished threshing peas, and agrarians from Odesa and Mykolaiv regions have 99% finished harvesting wheat.
In general, 12.6 million tons of wheat were threshed from 3.5 million hectares with a yield of 36 centners per hectare, barley was threshed 1.3 million hectares with a yield of 33.8 centners per hectare, 4.4 million tons were threshed, and peas were threshed 101 thousand hectares , with a yield of 22.4 c/ha, 226 thousand tons were harvested.
Winter rapeseed was harvested on an area of 929 thousand hectares, (79%) threshed 2.5 million tons of seeds with a yield of 26.8 centners per hectare.
Agricultural producers of Odessa region threshed 2.5 million tons of grain, Vinnytsia, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytsky and Cherkasy regions – more than 1 million tons of grain each.
The highest yield of grain and leguminous crops is among the farmers of the Ivano-Frankivsk region – 61.2 c/ha.
