On the morning of Tuesday, July 26, Russian troops launched strikes in the Zatoka area of ​​the Odessa region from 13 aircraft. Details of the regular shelling of the region were reported by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat.

“According to our information, what happened this early morning, first, Su-35 or Su-30 aircraft were attacked from the Black Sea. The base of the aircraft is the Akhtubinsk airfield. At about half past five, three of these aircraft launched attacks with X-59 missiles, 5 missiles flew out mainly in the Odessa region, the Zatoka region and other places, ”said the military.

Half an hour later, according to him, 10 Tu-22M3 long-range bombers attacked at once.

“Already around 5 o’clock in the morning, half an hour later, immediately 10 Tu-22M3 aircraft, these are long-range bombers, their base area is in the north of Ukraine, Shaykovka airfield, Russia. They flew to the Black Sea, and from there they also delivered 8 hits with Kh-22 missiles. Mostly also in the Odessa region, the Zatoka region, where the well-known bridge is located,” said Ignat.
