The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published the directives by which the Ukrainian delegation was guided in Istanbul during negotiations on the transportation of grain from Ukrainian ports.
The document notes that the Ukrainian delegation must prevent, prevent and block possible steps by the Russian or any other side aimed at legitimizing the decision to recognize certain regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, as well as attempts to annex Crimea and Sevastopol.
The Ukrainian side should pay attention to the fact that the UN General Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and territorial waters, and also emphasize that the ongoing aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is a violation of the UN Charter, and its invasion of sovereign territory of Ukraine with the use of force against Ukraine and further threats are nothing but a war against our state.
In addition, among the instructions for the Ukrainian delegation was the insistence on the use in official documents, messages, publications, information materials and reports within the framework of the negotiations, including regarding the relevant statistical data relating to the Russian Federation, as well as posted and used on official Internet resources and UN Internet platforms:
the wording “war” / “war” and “invasion” / “invasion” when referring to the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and subsequent threats to our state in accordance with the statements and positions of the UN Secretary General;
the wording “Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation” / “Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol, Ukraine, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation” when referring to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol;
the wording “temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions” / “temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions” when referring to temporarily occupied certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
the wording “occupying authorities of the Russian Federation” when referring to the structures of the Russian Federation and their representatives in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol;
the wording “Russian occupation administration” / “Russian occupation administration” when referring to the structures of the Russian Federation and their representatives in temporarily occupied certain areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
