Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, in a conversation with the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley, said that Ukraine managed to stabilize the situation on the battlefield.
“We managed to stabilize the situation. It is complex, tense, but completely controllable. An important factor contributing to our holding defense lines and positions is the timely arrival of M142 HIMARS, delivering targeted strikes against enemy command posts, ammunition and fuel storage depots”.
Zaluzhny noted that he traditionally informed his American colleague about the operational situation.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that on the eve of the meeting of the contact group for the defense of Ukraine, he and Milli synchronized the requests of the Ukrainian side.
