A system for measuring congestion on a 10-point scale began to operate in Kyiv

Киев пробки

The Transformation Office presented a public dashboard of Kyiv traffic, showing traffic congestion, delay times and the monetary equivalent of time losses from standing in traffic jams.

The site displays the current assessment of the level of traffic jams on a 10-point scale. Previously, such a service was provided by the Russian Yandex.Probki, which was blocked by the Ukrainian authorities in 2017.

The dashboard also contains indicators of traffic delays as a percentage, the average speed of vehicles and the cash equivalent of the gross national product of Kyiv, which is underproduced as a result of traffic jams.

According to the website, since the beginning of the year, as of June 17, Kyiv has lost more than 580 million hryvnias. Each resident of Kiev spent an average of 35 hours standing in traffic jams.
