Российский военный Вадим Шишимарин, обвиняемый в убийстве гражданского жителя Сумщины, был приговорен к пожизненному заключению

Russian military officer Vadim Shishimarin, accused of murdering a civilian resident of the Sumy region, was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The court accepted the evidence against Shishimarin and concluded that the killing was premeditated.

The court rejected the arguments of the defense that the occupier allegedly complied with the order, since it was given by a military man who was not the commander of the Shishimarin, and the order itself was criminal.

The court does not consider the repentance of the accused to be sincere.

Shishimarin was found guilty of violating the law and customs of war. This crime is international, and therefore especially serious.
