The Opposition Platform for Life faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has been liquidated. The dissolution of the Opposition Platform for Life faction was announced from the podium on May 12 by First Vice Speaker Alexander Kornienko.
The faction is officially dissolved because its membership is less than 17 deputies.
Recall that in mid-April, the OPPL faction in the Rada suspended its activities.
On April 21, former people’s deputies from the Opposition Platform for Life faction created the Platform for Life and Peace group in the Rada, headed by Yuriy Boyko.
