Three airlines refused to fly to Ukraine. We are talking about Swiss Airlines Swiss Airlines, Austrian Airlines and the German airline Lufthansa.

Flights are suspended until the end of this month.

Swiss Airlines Swiss Airlines even refused to use the Ukrainian sky for transit flights.

According to a spokesman for Austrian Airlines, the suspension formally takes effect from Sunday, but separate flights will still be operated on this day so that passengers can return to their countries.

The Ministry of Infrastructure asks Ukrainian airlines to launch additional flights on the routes of the German carrier Lufthansa. From February 21, he will not fly to Kiev and Odessa for a week, according to the MIU Facebook page.

It is noted that the Lufthansa Group has decided to temporarily stop air transportation to Kiev and Odessa. Restrictions are introduced from February 21 to February 28. Separate flights from Kiev and Odessa will be operated today and tomorrow.

It is reported that several solutions are being worked out today. In particular, Lufthansa may transfer the ability to transport passengers on its routes to Star Alliance member companies and other partners.

“The Ministry of Infrastructure is negotiating with Ukrainian air carriers on the possibility of launching additional flights on routes that Lufthansa Group will not be able to operate as soon as possible,” the message says.
