Akhmetov under Zelensky has already doubled his fortune

Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov overcame 131 lines in the ranking of the richest people in the world in 2021 and increased his fortune to $ 11.7 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

As of January 3, 2022, Akhmetov’s fortune is estimated at $ 11.7 billion. This is $ 4.14 billion more than the result of 2021, when the billionaire’s fortune was estimated at $ 7.53 billion.

Thus, he was ranked 190th among the richest people in the world according to Bloomberg at the beginning of 2022. Akhmetov is the only Ukrainian in the ranking.

As of January 3, 2021, Akhmetov was ranked 322 with a fortune of $ 7.53 billion, and at the beginning of 2020 – 321 place with a fortune of $ 6.1 billion. In 2019, he was ranked 283rd with a fortune of $ 5.26 billion.

Rinat Akhmetov owns SCM holding, System Capital Management. The main assets of the holding are the mining and metallurgical group Metinvest Holding, as well as the energy company DTEK. In total, Akhmetov is the ultimate beneficial owner of about 500 companies, including financial (bank FUIB) and media (media group Ukraine).

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a press marathon on November 26, announced that there was evidence that a coup d’etat was being prepared in Ukraine in early December. According to the president, they are trying to drag Rinat Akhmetov to take part in the coup. The businessman responded by calling the president’s words a lie.
