The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) has notified fifth President of Ukraine (2014-2019), leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko on suspicion of high treason and assistance to terrorist organizations in the framework of the case of a criminal scheme for supplying coal from temporarily occupied territories, an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.
“Poroshenko served with suspicion under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code (high treason), Part 1 of Article 258-3 (creation of a terrorist organization), as well as Part 1 and 3 of Article 258-5 (financing of terrorism). Notice of suspicion sent to the post office at the place of residence and place of work,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
