EU imposed new sanctions on Crimea

Montenegro, Albania and Norway also joined the decision of the European Union to expand the sanctions list.

Ukraine has joined the EU’s decision to include eight more officials from Crimea on the list of persons against whom sanctions have been imposed, directed against the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. This is stated in the statement of the EU High Representative, published on Thursday, November 18.

Montenegro, Albania and Norway also joined the decision of the European Union.

It is noted that on October 11, 2021, the EU Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2021/1792 supplementing Decision 2014/145 CFSP (EU Joint Foreign and Security Policy – ed.).

“The candidate countries Montenegro and Albania, the country of the European Free Trade Area Norway, a member of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine have joined this decision of the EU Council,” the statement said.
