The chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Igor Kuzin told when there will be an outbreak of coronavirus in the country. It is expected in the fall, but it may be earlier.

The increase in cases is expected “somewhere in the fall of this year, around October-November.”

“Such an outbreak may occur earlier, but now there are all possibilities to prevent it,” said Kuzin.

Firstly, vaccination really protects against a severe course – this is a key point, said the chief sanitary doctor.

“The more people we now cover with vaccinations, the less the consequences for the health care system, for the health of people, and the fewer deaths in the fall, when such an outbreak really occurs,” he said.

Secondly, according to him, it depends on the responsible behavior of Ukrainians how quickly Ukraine will enter the “yellow”, “orange” or “red” zone.
